Responsibilities
● Participate in fire prevention and inspection programs
● Rescue fire victims, and administer emergency medical aid
● Operate pumps connected to high-pressure hoses
● Organize fire caches, positioning equipment for the most effective response
Qualifications required
● Current wildfire S-100 / NFPA 1051
● ICS 100
● Current OFA Level 1
● Valid class 5 driver's license with 6 or less points
● WHMIS, H2S Alive
● Industrial experience will be considered an asset but not essential
● Working knowledge with the following programs - SharePoint, Excel, Google, WhatsApp
● Canadian Safety Council UTV Operator
● Confined space rescue, operations level
● Physically fit and capable of performing a rescue
● Enthusiastic and team-oriented
Compensation & Details
● Work Locations - Fraser Valley BC
● Pre-employment D&A testing is a condition of employment
● Job type - Full time
● Schedule - Day and night shifts, 12 hour shifts, 7/7, 14/14
● Supplemental pay types - Overtime, LOA, paid travel
● Salary - $30-40/hour
