Qualifications

Certifications:

  • A valid class 5 drivers license with 6 or less points

  • NFPA 1001

  • NFPA 1081

  • NFPA 1006

  • NFPA 472

  • ICS 100

  • H2S Alive

  • Working knowledge with the following programs – Microsoft 365, Google, WhatsApp

  • Vehicle extraction

Responsibilities:

·      IMT of fire systems at our clients’ locations.

·      Respond to emergency situations to protect people, the environment, and property from all types of accidents and emergencies.

·      Inspect and monitor confined spaces, work at heights as required and ensure rescue and fire equipment is inspected and maintained.

·      Work within a team environment to complete truck and equipment checks.

·      Provide emergency Fire, Hazmat, Rescue and Medical care and other related services at the scene of an emergency, accident, disaster, or mass casualty incident.

·      Transport patients to safety during an emergency

·      Attend and be active internal and worksite meetings.

·      Complete hazard assessments and rescue plans

·      Train within your crew

 

Workers need to be physically fit and capable of performing a rescue, with knowledge of industrial fire systems. Employees are required to work within a team environment to complete truck and equipment checks, to attend and be active in worksite meetings, to be prepared for emergency response, and to train with their crew. We are looking for responsible, keen and approachable individuals to be part of our growing company. Accommodation is available for out of town employees.

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Industrial experience will be essential. 3-10 years’ experience
